LETTERS OF AUTHORITY L.O.A + IMP / EXP OF MOTOR VEHICLES / CYCLES + ITAC PERMITS + CUSTOMS REGISTRATIONS
We ensure that your “Letters of Authority” – (LOA’s) and ITAC permits are done correctly. These documents need to be in place prior to shipping – in order to avoid vehicles being seized by customs and unnecessary costs and delays being incurred. Importers of vehicles need to be aware that if they are not M.I.B registered, they have to own the vehicles for a minimum period of two years before that vehicle can be sold. We are able to assist with M.I.B registrations for companies that want to get involved in the re-selling of vehicles. Leave it to us …. To go the Extra Mile.
From Packing at load point to unpacking at final destination, we arrange Door to Door for your prized vehicles. We take the headaches away and handle it all.
L.O.A takes +- 3 months for authorization
ITAC no longer allows the import of left-hand drive vehicles
ITAC does not give permits for used vehicles unless they are vintage/ collectable/ classic/ inherited or you have worked abroad and personally own the vehicle for a period of 18 months or longer (proof to be provided).
Please note that when enquiring about your vehicle, Customs now require that your tyres are weighed as there is a tyre levy based on the weight of the tyre, even in the case of Used Vehicles.
